The School Inclusion Team deals with exclusions from school (Phone: 020 7974 4589), pregnant school-age teenagers or pupils with medical needs (Phone: 020 7974 1654), education for homeless families (Phone: 020 7974 4582), children missing education - not on school roll (Phone: 020 7974 4596), families affected by exclusion (Phone: 020 7974 4508).
Children Missing Education (CME) refers to all children of compulsory school age (5-16) who are not: registered pupils at a school, receiving suitable education otherwise, either at home or within the private sector.
We are committed to ensuring that all children receive their statutory education entitlement. If you are aware of a child missing education, please notify us as soon as possible. The School Inclusion Team will undertake all relevant enquiries and contact the parent/carer in order to reintegrate the child into suitable education.
