How long people spent on our site
The majority of visits (44%) were single page views and the next greatest percentage (31%) was of visits less than one minute long.
The average amount of time visitors spend on our pages is 2:16 minutes, an increase on 2019's 1:51 minutes. The data suggest users engaging with new content on the coronavirus (COVID-19) is a factor.
Navigation depth is the average number of clicks (pages visited) to get to the desired page.
We want to get information to you as quickly as possible - in the fewest clicks.
In 2020 the majority of users (72.3%) have a visit depth of 1-2 clicks.
The charts here show improvement on 2019, when the majority of users were taking 2-4 clicks.
