If you prefer or are unable to go to your polling station to vote you can apply for a proxy vote.
Appointing a proxy means that someone else will cast your vote for you.
Your appointed proxy will need to cast your vote at your designated polling station. Your proxy must be registered to vote and eligible to vote at the election.
Once appointed a proxy can apply for a postal proxy where your ballot papers are sent to them, however this must be set up by the postal vote deadline which is a week before the proxy deadline.
Apply to vote by proxy
You can apply to vote by proxy online on the GOV.UK website.
You will need to provide your National Insurance number or other identity document, your signature, and the address and contact details of your proxy.
Alternatively, you can complete a proxy vote application form (PDF). Scan and email your completed form to electoral.services@camden.gov.uk or post it to:

Emergency proxy
If you have a medical or employment emergency which means you can’t go to your polling station on election day, you may be eligible for an emergency proxy.
